The End!

It has come to the end of a lot of things around here. We have just received word that My loved one is heading home sooner then expected. Why yes I am over joyed at the fact my heart will be hole again..... Or I will not have to be the sole disciplinarian in the house, since the boys seam to walk all over me anyway.

Avery is at a stage where you have to tell him over and over again and he looks at you like you just spoke another language and does it anyway. I have officially declared him a toddler not a baby anymore as he would so tell you his name was "Baby". Coming to this realization was hard for me but as he inches closer and closer to 2 years old I have started to clear out everything baby.... Makes me sad to declare the end of the baby stuff... But there is no way I could handle another one when my husband deploys again which they have already started to talk about for a year from now. :) Well at least till Avery is in school. I always say "If he was my first I would of never had anymore" I was so blessed with Ethan, He was a wonderful and beautiful, graceful, child.

Then Ethan has become rebellious to say the least. I have let him have a mow hawk because it looks so darn cute on him... I also let him die it Red... I know you think I am crazy..But I feel if that is something that they want to do then let him do it now, why its summer, so latter in the teen age years it does not come back to haunt me that I never let him be who he wanted to be. Plus I'm just the coolest mom ever!

About the other things that has come to the end... Well Summer if you can call it that... We have had more rain here then Seattle. We have not one time hit 100 degrees. In Pa we do get a few of them. Ethan will be going back to school at the end of the month. So that also marked the end of summer.

I have come to the End of my SAHM status..But finding a job is a bit harder then expected. I have not worked in over 2 years so that is like Im a newbie all over again.

I believe it may be the end of my house hunting as well for a wile too....Because Logan has to come home and get reestablished with his job. So that means money will be tight and there is no since in moving if this is the case. My heart has broke over so many houses but I refuse to move again till we are buying a house. I hate moving and the good thing about him getting out of the military and going National Guard is that we could put down roots and I want this so bad!

But here are a few pic's of things we done this summer

Ethan turned 6!

Boys got some cool new toys

I took them camping.. Tent Camping...all by myself...And well I will never do that again till there older...Well at least Avery...He loved going to other camp sites and taking there toys.

We went to my Brother in Laws and went fishing. Had a Birthday party for my niece and Got to also see them dance.

The rest of the summer is to be continued... I will do it in another post...

Tonight I believe I splintered the bone in my finger so my fingers are a bit over worked so Im off to bed and will pick up with more pictures as soon as I can.

M.I.A.

Sorry I have been MIA (Missing in Action)

The last few weeks have been crazy! My oldest son has had to spend his fare amount of time in Hershey Medical Center to run test that everyone seams to think there is nothing wrong with him. When the child has had a problem going to the bathroom on his own since he was born. And he was breastfeed in the beginning. So now it looks as if he is just going to have to O.D. on fiber to keep him going like he should.

This past Wednesday my friend Teesha and I took my 2 and her 2 kids to the annual fair. We had a great time till Ethan and I became sick from the sun. I felt as if I would pass out so Teesha had to drive my truck back to her house. Then Ethan ended up really sick and puked all over Teesha's porch. So glad she was such a wonderful friend. She took great care of him as I was about to loose my lunch as well. Later in the evening I felt really Ill and laid down and no sooner did morning come I was so sick could not move from the bath room. I called my neighbor to come over and change Averys diaper and give him something to drink. Ethan had already gave him a pop tart. He was so great helping me with Avery as I spent the next 2 hrs sitting tub side ready to jolt the toilet. Im feeling a bit better now that I have almost rehydrate. My body for some reason can not rehydrate its self like a "normal" person could.

So now tomorrow we are going to spend the day at the fair again and this time Im ready for it! Drink MORE water!

Thanks for reading!

God Bless

Sermon Sunday

Hello my dear friends, I want to start every Sunday with an encouragement in life, Im in no way an ordained pastor. But I do always love to give my opinion on Issues. (I know you are nodding at this moment thinking about the may times I opinionated myself..)

"Do yourself a favor: love your wife"

You can buy this book at www.christianbook.com

Of course I do not have a wife so there for I have not read it, but my husband has. It has changed him in such a wonderful way. It has made him more thoughtful and caring and LOVING. Not that he was not before but it has changed something in him. There is a new spark in his eyes.

Men do not get that we are crashers of LOVE and we need it shown in more ways then words. I suggest buying this for those men in your lives. I have talked to so many friends lately that are having such turmoil in there relationships. Its so heart breaking for me to see. I always try to speak life into there life. I believe in marriage and you are in it till the end. But what do you say to the friend that is not married but there heartaches in there relationship or because they can not find "THE ONE"

What I say to you is. " A marriage or relationship does not take 2 people"

What did I just say?

YES I SAID IT DOES NOT TAKE 2!

Because the real, hole truth is, it takes 3!

Not a child but HIM!

Yes, GOD. Once you find him in your marriage or your relationship then things shall get better. But you have to hole heartily plunge into it. God has his arms wide open for you he is ready to hold you marriage in the palm of his hand and help bring things where they should be. Trusting is the key, our God never wants us to hurt. He cries when we cry. His heart aches when our heart is broken. He wants life for us, eternal life.

So do yourself a favor and love your spouse. Encourage them let them know you "appreciate" everything they do for you. Do not wait for them to change find the change in yourself first with God then pray for God's hand on your spouse to help them and encourage them to bring you back to the hole you once were.

God, I pray that you touch each person that reads my sermon today, may they know you, in there lives in there marriage or relationship and lead them to your eternal glory. Aman

Gods message

Have you ever just sat back and obeyed what the lord is or has told you in life. Have you opened you heart, body, mind to let him in and be filled with his glory.

I try to be an obedient daughter to my "FATHER" You know.............The one that will never for get your birthday, or get board with you and just stop talking to you.....The father that cries as you cry and cheers as you cheer. WOW what a great father we all have.

A few months ago, I was sitting in another MOPS (Mother of Preschoolers) meeting and listening to our leader speak about helping others. This day was not a special day by any means. I was running late as always because I can never pull my self out of bed, because I stay up to late. So as I sat there half asleep I was awaken by him. who? The spirit, I felt his presents in me to open my ears and I still here her (the leader) words etched into my brain. "When you in the grocery store buy the mom behind you her "MILK AND BREAD"

Milk and Bread? Yea I could use that too.

I had no clue that to this day these 2 Items that are on everyone's grocery list would become to mean so much to me.

After the meeting...................

I went to Giant (grocery store) I needed to pick up my son's asthma medication and I wanted to pick up some cake mix to bake a cake. By this time them 2 items were farthest from my mind all I was thinking about was how yummy this cake would taste.

I get to the truck, Avery is crying like he does every time I put him in his car seat and there were 2 woman standing next to the car parked next to me. If you know me I'm totally oblivious to anything around me and I for sure do not ease drop.

Well I felt as if some one kept flicking my ear drum. So once again the spirit opened my ears............ The one younger lady was really upset of the verge of crying to the older lady about how he (I assume her partner) done this to her again. Like I said do not like to ease drop all I could really get was he was in jail and he is going to be so mad at her when he gets out because she has had to pawn his CD's and DVD's to buy "BREAD AND MILK" to survive.

At this point I almost want to cry my eyes out because even tho I was moving on with my day and shrugging off what my Father had planed for me this day.. His Spirit kept me on my path to do his work. I'm such a shy person I can not just walk up to someone. So I got in my truck. Looked in my pocket book and what was in there but this $10 bill that has been in there for weeks with no reason or intent to be spent..... At this moment I knew this $10 had been sitting in my pocket book for weeks because it was never meant for me. This young woman was in need and this $10 was hers and has always been meant for her.

I back up and drive forward, roll down my window and said. "I'm so sorry for what you are going through I was not trying to ease drop, but I want you to have this." I held out the $10 bill. Of course she would not take it and I told her it was ok that I have been there too (money wise) and if it was not for people helping me out I would of never made it. It was ok to take it. I ended up giving it to the older lady because she would not take it and as I drove off the young lady was in tears "I said may god use this to bless your life" As I spoke these words my heart felt with love. I knew my father was pleased that I listened to him and obeyed his words.

I tell this story not for glory or applause, but to share the message that God has for each of us.

May God Bless you today and always

Brittany

Need the Motivation!

It is already 2:45pm and I should be packing for out camping trip....but no I can not seam to find the motivation. I do not know what it is about today but it had come and gone so fast.

I was so upset that my "Days of our Lives" was not on today. I really wish they would show it after what ever they do to interrupt the broadcasting in today's case it was Michal Jackson's memorial service. I can not believe that he has passed away. I think there getting a bit carried away with all of it tho. IMO

I went and looked at a house yesterday, well actually 2 of them. I am trying to buy our 1st house. Almost now after so many months seaming imposable! I loved the 1st one just do not like the school district and well I'm not disciplined enough to home school. It had an indoor pool, 3 car garage, 3 bed and 2 bath. Nice lot as well. The price is unreal! Its to good to be true. Still have not talked to Logan about it. Need to mail him pictures, since I seam to be hoovering my computer today. The 2nd house was not so much me. Even tho the house was beautiful older house. Just not the right one for me. But I do like the area better. Who ever told me that buying your 1st house was fun.........was so wrong! My head hurts just thinking about looking at anymore houses. I know God has a plan for us, and I need to pray about it and he will show us the right path.

"God never shuts a door with out opening a window"

Well now that it is 3 I need to wake up Avery and get to the bank and the store to buy all the goodies for our camping trip.

God Bless you all!

My life on the side lines.

Wow, my first blog! This is exciting.... I hope...lol...

Well maybe I should start with a little about me.

I was born in Illinois. Many days I miss it, because my grandparents are there and I look up to them in so many ways. I was raised in Pocahontas, Illinois and Graduated from Greenville HS in 2002. After graduation I moved down to Missouri Where my Dad was stationed. He Set me up there with my own place and I loved it.

A few months latter I met the man I now call my husband. He is an "American Hero" I love him with all my heart. We have 2 wonderful boys. Ethan who is now 6 and Avery who is 20mo.

Our road has in no way ever been easy...

This is where "My life on the side lines" comes in. My father always told me to never marry a military man.. But come on, who listens to there Father. So I married Logan December 14th 2002. Our wedding was in no way perfect... I look back and laugh because there were so many things that went wrong, but you know that does not matter. All that mattered was that he said "I do" well and of course I did as well.

In the present day we are living our 3rd deployment as a married couple. He missed the birth of his 1st son. Ethan in 2003, and was not able to meet him till he was 10mo old. Then he was sent to Korea for 18mo. After this we had enough, Or maybe I had enough. I almost walked out on our marriage because I could not take him always being gone. Of course he fought me not to leave. He came home on leave for a few weeks and well.... You guessed it we are still married. I fell in love with him all over again. I knew at that moment. No man in this world could ever make me as happy as this man did. (even when he for gets to take out the trash)

So now July 6th 2009 here I sit on my computer starting my 1st blog site and sitting on the side lines to once again await the return of no other then my true love.

May God bless you, and keep you safe until our hearts a hole again, my love. Wifey
